  My son and I were welcomed right away and Melissa made us feel part of the family right away! We love this church so much my son was baptized here and we come back every time we're in Chula Vista. Concordia is the church you can call home

  When you're looking for a church home, Concordia will welcome you at the door with a friendly smile and no judgment. Pastor Schmidt's sermons are so easy to understand and follow, it feels like he's speaking right to your heart. He'll say, "It's not me, that's the Holy Spirit". Our family joined this church about 6 mos ago, and have been attending for over a year. Their council and policies are transparent. Nothing is hidden, and you feel the honesty. Concordia does amazing things for its surrounding community. Every member, from small child to elderly grandparents and beyond, has a purpose and can get plugged in somewhere to make a difference for and within this church. Concordia's message reaches beyond the four walls, which inspires more Christ-like love and good works. Live and love like Jesus.
